Facing Life Head On, Episode 9: Physician Assisted Suicide
This week Brad met with five guests, all of whom are involved with the Death With Dignity Act. Each guest has a different perspective on the legalization of physician assisted suicide. However, there is one common theme found among each guest: there is nothing undignified about dying naturally, and the moment a physician becomes an agent in a patient?s death is the moment the medical system begins to weaken.

Watch TV Ads Against Assisted Suicide

The following ads were used in the campaign against I-1000, the assisted suicide initiative in Washington State. Unfortunately, because radical suicide proponents, primarily non-Washington residents, outspent opponents by more than 4-to-1, the initiative was approved by Washington voters in November, 2008. Nevertheless these ads, and the stories of the people in them, are powerful and poignant reminders of why need to oppose assisted suicide everywhere.
