About True Compassion Advocates
True Compassion Advocates(TCA) offers education, resources, and support during aging, illness, and disability. We foster awareness about, and prevention of, suicide, assisted suicide, and elder abuse. We support safe and effective care, positive health care choices, and safe harbor communities. We believe that people have the right to compassionate care, loving support and comfort during aging, illness,and disablity, and at end of life.
Compassion Advocates are women and men, family members and caregivers, physicians and nurses, seniors and people with illesses and disabilities. We live in communities across the US, Canada, Europe, Austraila, and elsewhere. We come from all walks of life, have diverse backgrounds, politics, and ethnicity. We work together to advance genuine compassion, promote authentic dignity, and advocate for life-affirming choices. Our shared goal and common cause is to prevent elder abuse, assisted suicide, and assisted homicide and to enhance education, information, and societal support for those at-risk.
